Senior School Dance Workshops at the Prep
On Monday, some of our Year 3 and Year 5 pupils had the exciting opportunity to take part in a dance workshop led by Senior School Dance students, as part of their Field Day events.
Each group learned two dynamic routines, choreographed and taught by the Senior School students themselves. The routines were impressively complex, but our younger pupils rose to the challenge – and thoroughly enjoyed every moment!
Year 5 were even invited across to the Senior School to use the professional dance facilities, which they found particularly exciting.
This workshop was truly a two-way learning experience. Our younger students were inspired by the skill and leadership of their older peers, while the Senior School students clearly relished the chance to step into teaching roles. Several even commented afterwards that the experience had sparked an interest in pursuing teaching in the future.
A huge thank you to Mrs Carabache and her incredible team of dancers for leading such an inspiring session. We look forward to many more opportunities to collaborate throughout the year!
