Brentwood Senior School is an academically selective HMC co-educational independent school with small class sizes and a happy, ambitious and supportive staff team. It is part of Brentwood School, a 3-18 HMC school of 1900 pupils, just 35 minutes from London Liverpool Street.

This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding Netball professional / coach to join this high-performing and thriving department.  We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring individual with the ability to coach Netball to First Team standard and engender a passion for sport in both the Prep and Senior School. Working alongside the Head of Netball, the role will ensure that we can deliver outstanding netball provision to all age groups and abilities.

This is a term-time position, working 35 hours per week, including Saturday morning fixtures. While there is some flexibility in how hours can be arranged across the week, please note that the core hours for this role are Monday to Friday, 12:30–17:30, in addition to Saturday mornings.

In terms where Netball is not a main sport, it would be advantageous if the person can coach Girls’ Cricket and possibly one other sport.

Netball is a focus sport at Brentwood School, with competitions and practices taking place throughout the Michaelmas and Lent terms. It is a very popular Games option for the students, with each year group consisting of up to five teams. Recent successes include the u19 team reaching the semi-final of the Independent Schools’ Netball cup, as well as our u14 and u16 teams reaching the national schools tournament.
