There was a great buzz around the school. As my son is in Year 4, he visited the school with my husband, and they were very impressed. They spent about 2 1/2 hours, talking to lots of people and trying out all the different activities offered by the departments. They commented especially on how patient and informative their tour guide was and what a friendly welcome they received from Michael, as well as all the other teachers they spoke to.

A Broad Curriculum to Promote a Love of Learning
The International Baccalaureate (IB) philosophy and mission seamlessly aligns with the values and vision of Brentwood School. Our Prep pupils benefit from the IB Primary Years Programme (PYP), which offers a child-centred approach to equip them with the skills and dispositions to become independent learners with a strong moral foundation and excellent interpersonal skills.
In the Senior School, our academic curriculum is designed to foster a love of learning. With 28 GCSE subjects available, students can create a personalised curriculum path, ensuring a balanced selection of subjects that are valued in the Sixth Form and by universities and employers.
At Sixth Form, we provide 26 A Level subject choices, offering flexibility to accommodate most combinations of options tailored to your strengths and interests. We design the timetable around your choices to support your individual needs. We are proudly ranked as a Top 10 UK IB Boarding School and offer the Pre-IB pathway for high-achieving, ambitious students. Additionally, we provide the BTEC National Extended Diploma, specialising in Business, Creative Media or Sport, with a focus on vocational skills and continuous assessment.
