Brentwood Senior School is an academically selective HMC co-educational independent school with small class sizes and a happy, ambitious and supportive staff team. It is part of Brentwood School, a 3-18 HMC school of 1900 pupils, just 35 minutes from London Liverpool Street.

We are looking for a well-organised and enthusiastic Food & Nutrition Technician to support teaching staff and classes in the Food and Nutrition areas. This term-time only role is 30 hours per week across four days: 8am -4:15pm, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday (7.5 hours per day, plus 45 minutes for lunch). You will help prepare food and equipment, maintain hygiene standards, and support students with practical tasks.

Key responsibilities include purchasing and organising materials, preparing for lessons, maintaining stock and safety checks on equipment, and ensuring the department is clean and well-ordered. Flexibility, initiative, and a genuine passion for food are essential, along with good time management and communication skills.

We’re seeking someone friendly, dependable, and able to work independently or as part of a team. You’ll also assist with occasional school events outside normal hours.
