Brentwood School – a leading independent co-educational day and boarding school – is seeking a proactive, dynamic Operations Manager with a “can-do” attitude to oversee its Sports Centre and associated facilities.
The successful candidate will have at least three years’ industry experience, including two in a supervisory role, with a proven ability to lead, motivate and develop staff. They will demonstrate strong leadership, organisational and communication skills, alongside sound knowledge of Health and Safety and experience in producing risk assessments and safe working practices. Experience in staff training, budgeting and financial management is required, with an NPLQ Trainer Assessor qualification desirable. The role also demands proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, with knowledge of Gladstone MRM2 and Google Workspace an advantage. A customer-focused approach, flexibility to work unsociable hours, willingness to wear a uniform, and commitment to integrity and confidentiality are essential.
