This is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding netball coach to join this high-performing and thriving department. We are looking for an enthusiastic, inspiring individual to support the netball programme by coaching during Games afternoons and after-school practices, as well as taking fixtures on Saturdays. This role is to commence as soon as possible from the beginning of January to 27th March 2027.

Working alongside the Head of Netball, the role will ensure that we can deliver outstanding netball provision to all age groups and abilities. The successful candidate will coach girls from all age groups from U12 up to U18, as well as being responsible for a specific age group during Saturday morning fixtures.

Netball is a focus sport at Brentwood School, with competitions and practices taking place throughout the Michaelmas and Lent terms. It is a very popular Games option for the students, with each year group consisting of up to five teams. Recent successes include the U19 team reaching the semi-final of the Independent Schools’ Netball Cup, as well as our U14 and U16 teams reaching the national schools tournament.

This is a term-time role; 10 hours per week, which includes Saturday morning fixtures. The proposed timings are 1400 – 1730 on Wednesdays and Thursdays, plus an additional 4 hours on Saturday (approximately 0800 – 1200).

Applications can be submitted through the TES website, alternatively applicants who do not have a TES account should use the relevant Interactive Recruitment Form on this page. The School reserves the right to change these dates, and to close the vacancy at any time.

Brentwood School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, and applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.
