Developing one’s character and moral purpose
At Brentwood School, we do the right thing even when no one is looking
Virtues in actionWhere I began
I started Brentwood School in Year 7. I was one of four from my school and didn’t know many people when I started.
The journey I took
I soon made lots of friends in my form group as well as the Sports and Music groups I joined including the Brentwood School Big Band, Chamber Choir, and the Football, Cricket and Rugby teams.
The Result
I hope to continue studying when I leave school and become a Professional Musician.
Where I began
I started at the Prep when I was three years old in Foundation, and even though I felt nervous to start, I was comfortable after a few days and enjoyed being in School.
The journey I took
Now I’m in Year 2, I very much enjoy going on school trips and taking part in different activities and opportunities like Drama and Gymnastics.
The Result
I’ve made a lot of friends whilst being in EYFS and KS1 and I’m looking forward to joining Year 3. I’ve heard it’s a lot of fun and I’m excited to experience subjects in more depth like Art and PE.
Where I began
I started at Brentwood School in Foundation when I was three years old. I liked meeting new people and was happy to make new friends, some I still have now.
The journey I took
During my years at the Prep I enjoyed all opportunities in Performing Arts, Music, and Dance. I was proud to be a part of the Endangered Instrument programme playing the trumpet.
The Result
I feel resilient as a result of my time at the Prep and enjoy the experience of trying new things like LAMDA. This has helped my confidence, and learning the Brentwood Learner Profile attributes like being caring has helped prepare me for my move to the Senior School.
