And the ONOScar goes to………..  Brentwood School Performing Arts!

The School’s Fourth Year Drama students have been nationally recognised for their entry in the Coram Shakespeare Schools Festival 2020.

Brentwood’s much acclaimed Drama Department won the ONOScar for Best Site Specific Performance for their production of Much Ado About Nothing beating off competition from 100s of other schools who took part in the UK.

Coram SSF’s world record-breaking night of theatre #OneNightofShakespeare saw young actors from across the country join together in a bid to keep creativity on the agenda and put drama back under the spotlight.

Brentwood School Second in Drama, Mrs Sophie Hermosa, said: “This award reflects how fabulous the students were in their performance. Taking into account all the restrictions we are under due to Covid-19, I am incredibly proud of them.”

Filming for Much Ado About Nothing took place in the Memorial Hall, Old Big School, outside in the grounds and the Victorian Chapel.
